Every morning I used to wake up to the sun

She was always there throughout my days

Her warmth greeted me at the start of each and every one

And I would smile under the caress of her rays

Her presence revealed everything to me so clearly

Birds on branches flicking their wings while clouds ooze across the sky

Joy, pleasure and laughter used to accompany me

I felt like I could expand and rise infinately high

Love of my life

I could never live without

The sun in my sky

 

When I woke up today the sun wasn't there

Did she forget to rise? I don't know

But now coldness engulfs my heart and there's darkness everywhere

I cry as shadows bruise me, where do I go?

Without her light I see nothing as it is

And my memories of the world are fading away

Misery, pain and tears will pursue and torment me

Feels like I'm gonna spiral inwards, surely this is my doomsday
